BIOL started in Andria, Puglia in 1996 under the supervision of C.i.Bi. and “Programma Olio e Qualita”. It represents the most important international competition among organic extra virgin olive oil producers both by number of participants (farms and cooperatives) and countries represented. BIOL involves experts and consumers, and draws great attention from media outlets covering organic production.
BIOL’s mission is to present new and innovative products and allow consumers to appreciate their differences and qualities. In a simple expression…….”make a difference” in the organic extra virgin olive oil production.
