MONINI GROVES DOWN UNDER

In 2001 Monini set up an Australia Grove in the rich red soils of rural NSW. Purchasing almost 1729 acres of land, they developed a modern olive tree grove with more than 106,000 trees of Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Coratina varieties, shipped from Italy and now growing under the Australian sun – becoming the only certified Italian varieties in the country.

 

Each year Mr Monini (pictured) and his team make the journey from Spoleto, Italy to spend time at their Australian grove to inspect the bounty as its harvested and pressed into flavorsome extra virgin olive oil.
